Vacherin is a French cow's-milk (French vache, "cow") cheese.
This soft, rich, seasonal cheese is contained in a blanched rind and called Vacherin Mont d'Or.
Made from cow's-milk in Switzerland or France, it typically contains 45 to 50 percent milk fat.
Vacherin is a rare and delicious indulgence.
Make the most of it the season is very short!
